DAVID MCARTHUR

Reverend David McArthur J.D, is founder of Intelligent Heart, author, HeartMath Independent Certified Trainer, licensed 1 on 1 Provider, Certified Cut-Thru provider, and a spiritual counselor.

Seminars and keynote presentations: David McArthur is one of the very few people in the world who is certified to present the HeartMath science and techniques in public seminars and presentations. David’s presentations and seminars are custom designed around the goals and needs of your organization.

David has been immersed in exploring the knowledge and skills of the transformative power of the heart for over forty years. He began working with the Institute of HeartMath shortly after their incorporation and served as a full time, on-site member of the HeartMath staff for seven years. He has keynoted conferences throughout North and Central America, taught thousands of people and many HeartMath trainers the skills and scientific discoveries that have revolutionized the experience of human transformation. With HeartMath he served as director of their religions and personal development divisions and as a featured speaker and trainer.

While David’s clients have included businesses and CEOs of for profit and not for profit corporations. his passion is in helping the care givers — the moms and dads, teachers, nurses, therapists, physicians, managers, homemakers, grandparents, ministers, administrative assistants and the many other people who do their jobs or fulfill their roles as a part of making our homes and offices places of harmony and creativity.

David McArthur’s background includes a successful career in law during which he served as an Assistant Attorney General in New Mexico primarily involved with environmental issues. He left law for ministry and is an ordained Unity minister who has served Unity churches for over twenty-five years and has trained clergy of many denominations and religions in the knowledge of the heart. He is presently senior minister at the Unity Center in Walnut Creek California.

David is co-author with his father Bruce of the book The Intelligent Heart published by ARE press in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Intelligent Heart includes HeartMath’s core science and techniques and David’s understandings of the role of the heart as a part of one’s spiritual growth.

SUE CLEMANS

Sue Clemans is a registered nurse and a HeartMath licensed 1on1 provider.
Specialties: Health care workers, people facing health challenges, parents and grandparents of children with autism or other family stresses.

Sue Clemans has worked with the HeartMath system for over ten years. She brings her tremendously helpful background as a registered nurse to understanding the challenges and stresses of our lives. In addition to her role with HeartChoice, she serves as a Community College instructor assisting people working in the hospital system.

Sue’s passion that has inspired her to share her skill and knowledge of how to transform the experience of stress also comes from her family experience. Her granddaughter, Meghan has autism. Sue, along with Meghan’s mother, Amy, has been deeply involved in Meghan’s care. She knows firsthand how devastating the stress of caring for a child with autism can be to a family. While there are many kinds of support in dealing with autism as a disease, the greatest support that the family, parents and grandparents can receive is the knowledge of how to remove the stress experience from their lives freeing them to give the care necessary for all the members of the family to thrive. She has helped multiple generations discover the wisdom of their hearts as they released the stress of change to deal effectively with the demands and changes of their lives.

AMY CLEMANS

Amy Clemans is a HeartMath Licensed 1on1 Provider.
Specialties: Parents including parents of children with autism, young professionals, dance and movement specialists, people with relationship stress.

Amy began working intentionally with the tools of HeartMath as a teenager. She brings a professional background in dance, movement and physical fitness. She has experienced first hand the tremendous difference the HeartMath techniques have made in her life as the mother of a child with autism. She knows that the quality of time and attention that a parent gives to the child makes a huge difference in the experience of the child, the siblings, the extended family and of the parent’s own peace and well being. Parenting healthy children is stressful. Parenting in today’s demanding world is even more so, and parenting a child with autism is for many people overwhelming.

Having proven the transformative power of the heart in her own life, Amy is helping other parents and young professionals to use the HeartMath tools to restore the fun, bring the inner peace and enhance the quality of their lives moment by moment. Having faced the challenges of autism, divorce, single parenting and a career she enjoyed that was not financially supporting, she has used the tool to create meaning and success and find joy again in her heart. She knows what really works and can help you learn and apply it successfully in your life.

PETER MCARTHUR

Peter McArthur is a qualified instructor for HeartMath’s Resilient Educator program and is a licensed HeartMath1on1 Provider.

Specialties: Actors, musicians and others in artistic careers, young professionals, teachers, parents and people with relationship stress.

Peter is a professional actor whose passion for living life at its fullness has taken him into the deep experience and skill of working with the transforming power of the human heart. He has been working intentionally with the HeartMath skills since his first studies with the Institute over thirteen years ago. He has trained teachers desiring to take the HeartMath skills to their students in Costa Rica through the Peace Academy of Costa Rica.

He works with actors and other artists to release the stress that is endemic to the artistic professions so they can express the full potential of their creativity and maximize their careers. He understands the stress of the young professional and has extensive experience with the highly effective HeartMath techniques that remove the pressure, anxiety and overwhelm of today’s artistic and professional world creating joy and fulfillment as real outcomes.
